Summer 2010 Swimming Pool Information
Picerne Military Housing Residents with a military ID and Picerne Swimming Pool Pass may use the Picerne neighborhood pool. To obtain a pool pass, contact your Neighborhood Center.

Monday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Swimming Pool Rules
  1. This swimming pool is open to residents of Picerne Military Housing and their registered guests. Residents must sign the Swimming Pool Use Addendum and be issued a Swimming Pool Pass prior to use.
  2. Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult guardian 18 years of age or older. Each adult resident may accompany a maximum of 4 children at one time.
  3. Residents must accompany their guests to the swimming pool. There is a 2 guests per household limit. Guests are defined as persons who do not have a Pool Pass. Residents are responsible for the conduct of their guests.
  4. Residents and their guests must use the swimming pool in a safe manner.
  5. All patrons must wear swimsuits that are appropriate for public appearance, no thongs, sports bras, basketball shorts, underwear, cut offs or denim shorts. All suits must be lined. T-shirts may be worn if they are light colored. Children who are not potty-trained must wear swim diapers and rubber pants while in the pool.
  6. Change diapers in the restrooms, not the pool area.
  7. Patrons must use shower before entering the pool.
  8. No glass or pottery-type containers allowed in the pool area.
  9. Persons with skin disorders, bandages, open wounds, eye, nose or mouth discharge may be refused entrance to the facility.
  10. The pool will be cleared periodically to allow for safety checks.
  11. Absolutely no running, horseplay, diving, or obscene language permitted within the facility.
  12. Inflatable rafts and toys are not permitted in the swimming pool.
  13. Water Wings/Floaties are not permitted in the swimming pool (Guidance from CDC).
  14. Young children may wear Coast Guard approved life vests in the shallow end of the pool only.
  15. Prolonged underwater breath-holding is strictly prohibited.
  16. No pets allowed in the pool or pool area.
  17. Residents and their guests will not over-expose themselves to the sun.
  18. The swimming pool and pool area are off-limits when closed.
  19. Lifeguards will be provided during posted hours and will have the authority to close the pool for weather or safety reasons. Residents and their guests must comply with Lifeguards' instructions or face loss of use privileges.
  20. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the swimming pool grounds. Intoxicated patrons will be denied entry and asked to vacate the premises.
  21. Lifeguards will be obeyed and rule on anything not covered in the SOP.
  22. Lifeguards and Management will monitor the number of residents allowed inside the swimming pool area at any one time in order to stay within maximum capacity requirements. Access is granted on a first come, first served basis.
  23. Residents and their guests use the pool at their own risk.
  24. No wet bathing suits are allowed in the Neighborhood Center.
