Construction Schedule

South Fort

Construction for Palmetto Terrace Phase I is complete adding 104 new E1-E5 3 and 4 bedroom town homes to Fort Polk. Along with the new homes built in Phase I, the first Neighborhood Center was completed in Palmetto Terrace. Construction on Phase II is underway bringing an additional 172 new E1-E5 3 and 4 bedroom town homes, as well as 46 new E6-E8 duplex homes. Beginning in 2009 and continuing through 2012, new construction for all rank bands will begin in South Fort.

Construction of the Dogwood Terrace Neighborhood Center is underway and will be opening in early 2010.

Construction of the Camellia Terrace Neighborhood Center is underway with anticipated completion in 2011.

North Fort

The homes at North Fort were built in the 1980s. These homes are slated to receive minor renovations. The renovation work takes place as families PCS. Work on the homes began in 2006 and will be on-going.

Our second Neighborhood Center was built in North Fort family housing. The Maple Terrace Neighborhood Center opened in May of 2009.
