Maple Terrace Neighborhood Center.
Maple Terrace is located on North Fort. The two and three bedroom homes were built in the late 1980s and range in size from 950 – 1,200 square feet. JNCO, CGO and FGO are the rank bands that reside here. These homes are receiving medium renovations to modernize the interiors. The Maple Terrace Neighborhood Center opened in May. This Acadian style luxury facility is the second Neighborhood Center to open for Army families living on post at Fort Polk. The 11,000 square foot Neighborhood Center has numerous amenities for Army families: club room, multi-purpose room, media room, Wii game room, fitness room, computer lab, laundry facility, Olympic size swimming pool, plus a kiddie pool and playground. Additionally, fifteen new playgrounds were recently completed in the neighborhood.
