Fort Polk
By relocating to Fort Polk, you have a unique opportunity to reside in one of the country's first privatized military housing programs. In 2004, all family housing at Fort Polk became privatized under the Army's Residential Communities Initiative (RCI) program. This program permits military families to experience the same quality homes, amenities and services offered by most civilian housing communities, without incurring the additional cost of many off-post communities.
